Ken Kirby, PCC, is founder and principal of EVOTO Company, a small business dedicated to professionals who long for excellence and meaning in their work.
Ken combines a playful curiosity, uncanny insight, and calm confidence with a deep love and care for people–qualities that help him support his clients as they examine difficult topics and talk honestly and openly about them. He believes in getting to the heart of the matter, appreciates the precious gift of life, and feels called to help people make the most of their lives.
Ken spent over 25 years in the water resources field in areas of technical analyses, software development, public engagement events, and executive advising. He has been employed in most levels of government (city, state, and federal), has been a sole proprietor, formed a consulting firm with a business partner, then sold that firm and worked within a multinational company. He has consulted with and coached professionals in government, business, and not-for-profit organizations.
In addition to his diverse employment experience, he earned a Ph.D. in engineering and holds a professional registration in Civil Engineering. He is a certified Integral Coach and earned a coaching certification from The Academy for Coaching Excellence. He has trained with several qigong masters, learned and practiced multiple forms of meditation, and has engaged in his own extensive personal development for more than 20 years.
Ken lives in Davis, California with his wife and son and has a daughter in college. He enjoys reading, writing, spiritual and somatic practice, being near the ocean, cooking and real conversations.
